Established in 1996 by the renowned Peter Dowle, a multi-award-winning garden designer with a rich heritage in garden design.
Leaf Creative Gardens (formerly known as Howle Hill Nursery) is an esteemed landscape and design company situated in Huntley, Gloucestershire.
Any project, big or small, from window box to waterfall, we have everything you require to design and make your dream garden a reality.
PETER DOWLE
Head garden designer and the owner of Leaf Creative, Peter has been immersed in plants and gardening since childhood. His father, Julian, was a noted garden designer and Peter spent a lot of time as a youngster at the Chelsea Flower Show helping to create his award-winning designs.
Peter trained at Pershore College of Horticulture and his career has covered every aspect of gardening from design and construction to raising nursery stock and garden maintenance.
Being a very keen plantsman Peter proudly presents Leaf's diverse selection of captivating and unusual plants, with a special emphasis on his favourite, acers.
DESIGN STUDIO
The design practice, now based in Huntley, is composed of many talented and proficient designers who can help you realize your dream, whether it's for a courtyard in a townhouse or a spacious country garden. They can advise on everything from hard landscaping to choosing plants.
Led by Peter, the small professional team consists of excellent landscape architects, garden designers, and other professionals, including quantity surveyors and project managers, who are very passionate about their work.
The impressive design team have won numerous awards for both design and construction, including gold medals at RHS Malvern, RHS Hampton Court, and RHS Chelsea, with many of them receiving the coveted Best In Show award.
