Gold medal RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025– Great Pavilion
BLUE DIAMOND GARDEN
Designed and built by Leaf Creative Gardens for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the Blue Diamond Chelsea Garden was created as an immersive, plant-led space that invited visitors to slow down and experience plants in a more intuitive, human way. Rather than a formal exhibit, the garden unfolded as a gentle journey through layered planting and changing atmospheres, echoing how gardens are encountered and enjoyed over time.
Set within the Great Pavilion, the design drew on natural forms and informal structure. Woodland planting, cottage garden favourites, architectural specimens and exotics were brought together in a relaxed composition that felt generous and uncontrived. Rare plants from Leaf Creative’s own collection were woven throughout, including a striking Wollemi Pine (Wollemia nobilis), offering moments of pause and reflection within the busy show setting.
The garden also showcased new and exclusive plants for Blue Diamond Garden Centres, presented within a setting that felt aspirational yet achievable. Built over nine days, the project balanced the demands of a major flower show with a calm, lived-in quality, and was awarded a Gold Medal at RHS Chelsea, along with Best Tree in Show for an Acer palmatum ‘Shishigashira’.
